Beach Cottage is a tastefully furnished, period thatched cottage with beamed ceilings and a woodburner stove, only a minutes’ walk from the two beautiful sandy beaches in Hope Cove. This is the ideal setting for a self catering seaside holiday and this cottage has much both in character and charm. The beamed ceilings and log burner make it a cosy place to stay in the spring and autumn and the nearby South West Coast Path provides some wonderful walks with spectacular sea views. There is a boat stand with the property, so guests are able to bring their own medium sized trailerable boats and use the slipway not far from the cottage for launching. (Details on request.)

Delightful sitting room with exposed beams, a feature fireplace and multifuel stove, two comfortable sofas (one will extend to form a 4ft 6in sofa bed for fifth guest) and armchairs, HD TV with Freeview and Blu-ray player (plus an assortment of DVDs), door to rear courtyard. Modern kitchen/diner with electric ceramic hob, oven under, Leibherr fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, wine cooler and pine table and chairs to seat 5. (Compact laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer in outside store). Upstairs: Bathroom with bath and electric shower over, hand basin, WC and electric towel rail. Double bedroom with 4ft 6in double bed, fitted wardrobe, hand basin in vanity unit and wall mounted flatscreen TV. Twin bedroom with two 3ft single beds and wardrobe.

Hope Cove is a natural harbour, and as such provides two of the prettiest beaches in all of the South West.
Inner and Outer Hope benefit from a great location just 2 miles outside of Salcombe, with Kingsbridge also within a 20 minute drive. Visitors can also take the coastal path to Thurlestone, Bantham or the beautiful Bolberry Down.
Just inland from the beach you'll find the village shop and local pub, where you can get your groceries, stop for a bite to eat or have a refreshing drink while looking out across the cove. There's also the Beachcomber Cafe and newly opened bar
For a real treat, why not make the morning walk over the cliffs to The Beach House at South Milton Sands for breakfast and a swim at one of the region's most stunning locations.

Walk the miles of stunning South West Coast Path with your four-legged friend, stopping off in quaint villages and deserted coves.
Devon boasts Britain’s Ocean City, Plymouth, steeped in seafaring history, or for a spot of retail therapy why not visit historic Exeter.
You’ll feel closer to nature whilst in Devon, but if you fancy a more exotic experience, try Paignton Zoo or the National Marine Aquarium for great family days out.

Outstanding cottage very cosy and homely and caters for your every need beautiful location for a relaxing break we loved the walks and so did Millie our boarder terrier .our son loved the beach even at this time of year (feb) plus the resent floods had just hit the week before us arriving but it was a fair week weather wise to us . And the cottage more than made up for the odd rainy day cosy and warm by the log burning fire what a treat that was . We totally relaxed and unwound from our busy life's at home and we felt like we had been on holiday wish we could of stayed longer but rest assured we will be going back to beach cottage what a find a place called heaven I believe thank you to the owners for shareing there beautiful cottage from jo Daz Reece and Millie our boarder terrier x
