This charming, detached and tastefully decorated cottage is ideal for two, a very peaceful and attractive spot to escape to. Set in a wonderful rural location, walkers will delight at the coastal paths nearby and there is ample opportunity to explore Dartmouth with its river boat trips, excellent restaurants and boutique shops, or idle days away on the beautiful beaches nearby. Welcome pack provided.

‘The cottage is lovely a perfect bolt hole away from the hurly burly of everyday life. We hope to return.’ The Hinkleys.

This is a charming room with a two-seater sofa and chair, electric flame effect fire, digital TV/DVD and full length windows towards the garden. There are pleasant views from the bedroom across the garden and the countryside beyond.

A level lawn area with planted banks and garden table and chairs is opposite the front door. An ideal spot for enjoying the evening sun setting over the valley below and watching the alpacas in the paddock.

  • Stock up on your holiday essentials at the Post Office and village shop where they bake fresh croissants and bread daily.

  • Enjoy the scenic drive to Torcross or opt for a slower pace by walking the South West Coast Path to truly enjoy this breath-taking scenery.

South Devon

  • Whether you’re kite surfing, paddleboarding or wild swimming, South Devon provides fantastically scenic opportunities for trying out all sorts of adventure sports.

  • Relax on a South Devon Railway steam train ride up the picturesque Dart valley from Buckfastleigh to Totnes.

  • Walk the miles of stunning South West Coast Path (with your four-legged friend if staying at a pet-friendly property), stopping off in quaint villages and deserted coves.

  • Sailors love Dartmouth and Salcombe, but there are plenty of shops and pubs for the landlubbers.

  • Visit the moors and tors of the National Parks: Dartmoor dominates the heart of the county whilst Exmoor hugs the North Devon coast.
