Cob Cottage is a delight. Recently totally refurbished to a high standard the cottage provides spacious, most appealing accommodation in the centre of the village of Beeson, just half a mile from Beesands and the wide panorama of Start Bay, ending at Start Point, the southernmost tip of Devon. Thoroughly modernised the cottage has everything a 21st Century holiday maker could need, yet retains an abundance of character with the most being made of the original beams. New touches include a most attractive decked terrace protected by glass balustrades that overlook the rear garden at the top of which are glimpses of the sea. Beeson is a quiet farming village within walking distance of the beach at Beesands where a welcoming pub serves locally caught fresh fish and the coastal path can be joined for miles of wonderful walking along cliff paths.

Property reviews for Cob Cottage
A lovely warm cottage with views across the sea. The cottage has just about everything you could ask for. The log burner and supply of logs and coal was a real bonus making a lovely feature in the evenings when the children had gone to bed! The cottage was set in the quiet, friendly, village of Beeson and within walking distance of the Cricketers Inn and the beach where we collected some beautiful slate for our garden. Most key visitor destinations were within half an hours drive of the cottage. We enjoyed days out in Darmouth, Kings Wear, Salcombe and Paignton. The area had lots to offer in the way of scenic walks. We took a short drive to the Start Point and enjoyed breathtaking views across the bay. All in all we had a fantastic break.
having just returned from cob cottage what a peaceful haven of relaxation no expense seems to have been spared on the renovation of this property we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return a fabulous base for our getaway and with close proximity to everywhere we like to visit in Devon
I would like to thank all the staff at Toad Hall cottage for their help and professionalism and nothing seemed to be a bother.
Thank you for all your help, great team you have there! My back is much better now! We had a lovely holiday and hope very much to book again with Toad Hall Cottage, next year. Cob Cottage is fabulous, we felt very comfortable and happy there. The cottage was so clean and fresh on arrival it made us feel very welcome. Great week all round!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cob Cottage in Beeson. It has been refurbished to a high standard, with many mod-cons to benefit a family staying there. The house was beautifully presented on our arrival, and was a fabulous base for our week in South Devon.
A lovely cottage, which was within half a mile of a shingle beach, which we did find sand on for our little one to dig. This part of Devon is beautiful but be warned there are very narrow roads to contend with!
