Our range of holiday cottages in Thurlestone are always highly sought after due to the popularity of this picturesque seaside village set in the heart of South Devon. Despite being in high demand, the village is relatively small so never feels particularly crowded, even in the peak summer weeks. Renowned for having a unique microclimate and ofter better weather than most of the neighbouring settlements, the village takes its name from the large offshore rock that makes this a distinctive part of the coastline.

With the South West coastal path on its doorstep, Thurlestone has great access to many of the sandy beaches and quiet coves that the region is well known for. Both Bantham and Hope Cove are close by and some of the area’s most breathtaking views can be taken in on the short walk to either village.

For a village of it's size, Thurlestone is fantastically well equipped with a good pub, post office, 5* hotel with leisure facilties, two golf courses, a tennis club and access to 4 gorgeous sandy beaches. The famous 18 hole Thurlestone Golf Course is a must for enthusiasts with it's brilliant cliff top location that offers far reaching views and fabulous sunsets.
