This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful village and a great part of the world. The only thing missing is a washing machine!

Delightful cottage

Cosy, warm and charming cottage with a lovely feel to it. Good touch to find milk, tea, coffee and sugar to start our holiday off. Friendly welcome from owner. Kitchen well equipped. Lounge ceiling a bit low if you are over 6ft but other rooms fine. Just a bit too early to see the courtyard garden at its best, but the camellias were beautiful in the owner's adjoining garden. A must do - try the real ale in the local dog friendly pub, Journey's End, and have a peep at the pretty, ancient church.

Lovely additional touches, for example, coffee. tea and sugar sachets. New Radox bubble Bath. Beautiful feather duvets and bedding and lovely quality bath towels.

I highly recommend this cottage. It is in a beautiful setting, very clean and well equipped, with friendly and helpful owners. Everything was just right for a wonderful, relaxing holiday - thank you.

Thank you!

Have just returned from a short four night break at Ivy's End. We've rarely been in such a cared for and well equipped cottage. Absolutely spotless and very well presented too. There was only two of us but there's ample room for four. Well equipped kitchen, lots of extra touches that make the difference. Good size fridge and freezer, and a bathroom (ground floor) to dream about. Even a patio at the back that's a sun trap. Well located for Bigbury, Burgh Island and Aymer Cove (beautiful secluded Nat Trust cove / coastal path). Thank you very much for a lovely stay - highly recommended. PS try the local Journeys End Inn - walking distance, great real ale from the tap and a classic country inn.

The garden at this property was extremely pretty with the lilac tree in full blossom and the clematis in flower. You are missing a trick here, the photos on the website and brochure should show this particular week rather than the normal green foliage.
