Tucked away off the main thoroughfare and backing onto the river that flows down to the harbour, this delightful property offers comfortable accommodation in a sympathetically converted barn with an abundance of interesting features. The two bedrooms, set in the eaves are located on separate mezzanine floors and the cosy lounge has beams and rough stone walls with deep set windows and window seats from which to watch and listen to the river as it hurries down to the sea. At the front of the barn a secluded courtyard offers an area in which to eat or doze in the sunshine, whilst a walk of a few yards will bring one into the centre of this picturesque fishing village and its many olde world inns, restaurants and shops.
Accommodation: Access via a lane to the front courtyard and entrance into the hall, with vaulted space to the roof beams and dining area with table and seating for 4. The kitchen has a window overlooking the river Pol, electric cooker, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment. Off the hall a downstairs cloakroom with WC and hand basin. Door into spacious lounge, with sofa, armchair and rocking chair. Electric fan heater, TV, video, DVD and set-top box, Radio, CD player. Steep open stairs lead to mezzanine floor over lounge with family shower room with shower cubicle, hand basin, WC and shaver point. Door into delightful double bedroom with beams and stripped pine floors with a 4'6" double bed. Descending back down to the hall another steep staircase leads up to the twin bedroom, with two 2'6" beds.
Note: The steep staircases to the bedrooms are not suitable for the infirm and young children will need supervision.
Outside: Secluded courtyard area outside front door with garden table and chairs.

Parking: There is no designated space. Weekly tickets are available in the main Car Park, or we have a space available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis. Please enquire at the time of booking. Please Note: Transport into the village from the main car park is either by horse and cart, electric tram or your own two feet, the harbour being approximately half a mile away. Some vehicle access is possible, but not to all parts of the village and is especially difficult during the summer.
