Attached on one side the cottage is set in the heart of the beautiful and very popular village of Slapton that has everything one could need from a stunning three mile beach half a mile down the road; a National Nature Reserve and wonderful doorstep walks around the corner; two good pubs and a well stocked village store are within a short stroll. 1 Vale Cottages has been completely refurbished, is fresh, bright, surprisingly spacious and very comfortably furnished - an exceptional cottage in an ideal location.

Accommodation:
Stable door into small hallway. Most attractive carpeted sitting room, with feature inglenook fireplace inset with a wood burner, deep comfortable sofa and two chairs, pretty window seat and flat screen TV with DVD, games, DVD's and books. Two steps up from the sitting room to a small pretty single bedroom (3ft bed) with hanging hooks.
The roomy kitchen has a wood effect floor and fine fitted cream units furnish this very well equipped kitchen. Integral fridge and separate freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, ceramic hob and electric oven and a dining table to seat 6.
Carpeted stairs. Large twin bedroom with 3ft beds, fitted cupboard and sweet cottage windows that peep over the village lane. The double bedroom has a handsome 4ft 6in bed, a decorative Victorian fireplace and wardrobe. Bathroom with bath, power shower over, washed wood walls, basin, WC, heated towel rail and wall heater. Double doors from the upper floor open to the garden.

Outside: The cottage sits alongside the village lane and there is private parking for one car just beyond the cottage. Bags can be unloaded at the door. From the upstairs of the cottage there is access to a small sunny garden provided with garden furniture. A path from here winds round to steps that lead down to the lane.
