No 9 is one of a group of exclusive and very stylish stone and timber clad lodges, situated in small clusters on the side of a wooded valley between the villages of Pillaton and St Mellion. The lodge includes for 2 people only: Full membership of the original St Mellion course; discounted green fees on the magnificent Jack Nicklaus championship course; reduced buggy hire; free use of club facilities that include a 25 metre swimming pool, large leisure pool and gymnasium. There is a skin care and spa centre with sauna, solarium, steam room and spa pool - charges apply.
Reached up a long private drive the lodges are tucked on the side of the hill and overlook a canopy of green trees towards the 14th hole of the golf course. A private buggy path links the lodge directly to the St Mellion buggy path network, providing quick and easy access to the club's wonderful facilities. This is a must for keen golfers!

Accommodation
Up stone steps beside a landscaped lily pond to the front door. Small hallway and open balustrade carpeted stairs that lead up to a lovely, light and spacious living room. Extensive picture windows, elegantly curtained, give woodland views and the sitting area under exposed rafters and pine clad ceiling has comfortable sofa-bed (sleeps 2), unusual carved easy chairs, a stone fireplace (not for use), TV with DVD and video. French doors open to a covered balcony that extends around the side of the property with table and chairs provided. The dining area has dining table with seating for 6. The very well equipped kitchen area has attractive cream fitted units, electric hob, built-in oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge/ freezer. A stable door leads to the rear of the property. Downstairs off the hallway are two bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms with bath, basin and WC. The main bedroom has two 3ft twin beds, pine furniture and fitted cupboards. Further twin bedroom (3ft beds) and pine wardrobe.

Outside: From ample parking area, steps lead up beside landscaped gardens that extend without enclosure around the five properties in the group. To the rear of the lodge is a level lawn with patio, built-in barbecue and garden furniture.
