Apple Barn will sleep 9 comfortably
Kingston is a charming village, very much off-the-beaten-track, with a good pub, a church, lots of pretty thatched cottages and is just over a mile from the River Erme's beautiful wooded estuary and, at low tide, miles of good sandy beach at Wonwell and across the estuary at Meadowsfoot Beach and Mothecombe. Apple Barn is tucked in the centre of the village, a large, detached and very comfortable family home, with an acre of spacious gardens. This is an ideal family base with a ground floor bedroom and bathroom, doorstep walks to the beach, a pub around the corner, a large garden to play in and superb walking on the nearby coastal path - something for everyone in fact.

Spacious, attractive and most comfortable sitting room with wood block floor, generous sofas, chair, digital TV with DVD/video player, CD player, table for games or extra dining, an open fireplace flanked by bookshelves and French door to a paved patio area and the garden. Spacious and attractive kitchen with an oil fired Aga with double oven and twin hobs, electric oven with ceramic hob, pine dresser, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, stripped pine floor and large dining table to seat 9. Utility room with sink, washing machine, tumble dryer, extra freezer and door to courtyard.
Downstairs bedroom with twin 3ft beds, pine furniture and stripped floor with rugs. Adjacent bathroom with bath, electric shower over, basin and WC. Stairs to landing and 4 bedrooms. Large master bedroom with 5ft wrought iron bedstead and large windows with garden views. Adjoining cot room with mirrored wardrobes and en-suite shower room with large shower enclosure, basin and WC. Bunk bedroom with full size 3ft bunks. Single bedroom with 3ft iron bedstead. Twin bedroom with pretty 3ft beds, fitted cupboards and hand basin. Family bathroom with bath, electric shower over, basin and WC.
Outside: A private driveway leads to a parking bay for 2/3 cars opposite the gate to the gardens. Large most attractive enclosed gardens extend around two sides of the house with mature shrubs, trees and sloping lawns. A paved patio area is provided with garden furniture and there is a small summer-house tucked in a corner, a greenhouse and a rockery.
