The Barnacle is tucked down a quiet lane, known locally as the Donkey Path, that leads straight to the beautiful sandy beaches of Outer and Inner Hope and the centre of this delightful seaside fishing village. From here enjoy the wonderful cliff walks that abound in the area, idle the days away making sand castles and picnicking on one of the sandy beaches, indulge in serious cream teas in the local café, or enjoy a pint at the Hope and Anchor Inn. The property is a totally self-contained annexe at the rear of a large family home, and enjoys a private railed deck area in a sunny spot. This is a very comfortable base for walkers, a couple or small family.
Accommodation:
Steps down from the parking bay to the front door. Off the small hallway is a bright attractive living room with laminate floor and amply furnished with two large sofas, (one a 4ft 6in sofa-bed), TV with DVD, a dresser and dining table to seat 6. The smart galley kitchen area has fitted units, is well equipped and has a built-in electric hob and fan oven, microwave and fridge with ice box. Use of owner's washing machine by arrangement. Stairs down to an inner hall. Cosy double bedroom with 4ft 6in bed, chest and hanging hooks. Bathroom with bath, shower-over, basin in vanity unit and WC.
Outside: A path around the side of the property leads down steps to a sunny railed deck area supplied with table and chairs. Further steps down to a gravelled area with rotary line. Use of beach equipment such as surf boards, buckets, spades, fishing nets, etc., by arrangement with the owners.

Duvets, (1 standard double, 1 kingsize & 2 single duvets available) pillows, cot, high chair and electricity (summer) included.
Bed linen & towels may be hired from THC.
Heating (oil) end September to Spring Bank Holiday £10 per week.
