Baytree Cottage is an 18th century stone and slate cottage in the centre of the delightful village of Holbeton. Holbeton is a beautiful, unspoilt and picturesque village and home to an award winning pub, The Dartmoor Union Inn. The South West coastal footpath is about a mile and a half from the property and there is a wonderful unspoilt sandy beach at Mothecombe. With more fine beaches and golf courses locally at Thurlestone, Bigbury, Bantham and Burgh Island, this attractive cottage, which is full of character and a comfortable family base, is ideal for exploring the South Hams.

Accommodation: Entrance porch into delightful beamed living room with wood burner, comfortable seating and TV with DVD and video. Step up to large fitted kitchen with dining table to seat 6 with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave and large fridge/freezer. Fairly steep stairs up to two double bedrooms with 4ft 6in beds and a twin room with 2ft 6in beds. Bathroom with bath and electric shower over, basin and WC.

Outside: An enclosed lawned garden with picnic table with lovely countryside views. Parking and large orchard at the rear of the property, an ideal place for a picnic and for children to play (by arrangement with owner).

Duvets, pillows, bed linen, (not towels) and electricity included. High chair, travel cot and stair gate by arrangement with owner.

Heating: Night storage heating. First basket of logs/coal supplied for wood burner further supplies can be brought from the village shop or garage in Yealmpton.

Parking: Off road at rear of property for one car.

Mothecombe sandy beach 1.5 miles. Two Pubs (the Dartmoor Union www.dartmoorunion.co.uk and the Mildmay Colours) and excellent shop (fresh croissants every day) in the village. Noss Mayo 6 miles and Newton Ferrers 5 miles. Yealmpton 3 miles. Modbury 4 miles. Bigbury 7 miles. Plymouth 9 miles.
