Conveniently situated on the coastal road from Kingsbridge towards Dartmouth that takes you to Start Bay where there are miles of cliff walks around Start Point, golden sandy coves and beaches close by, as well as bird watching at Slapton Ley Nature Reserve. In the other direction (1.5 miles) is the wonderful market town of Kingsbridge, with a rich variety of shops and restaurants, and a small market twice a week. Just 7.5 miles from the house is the sailing mecca of Salcombe as well as the sandy stretches at Thurlestone and Bantham.

Spacious, comfortable sitting room with open fire, two comfy sofas and chairs. TV, DVD, video, (a number of children's videos available for guests' use). The second sitting room has a fine original slate floor, large stone hearth inset with a wood burner surrounded by comfortable seating. A cosy corner around the staircase houses books, a desk and CD player.
The spacious well equipped country kitchen/diner has shaker style units and a terracotta floor and a dining table seating 6/8. There is an eye-level electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer and washing machine and tumble dryer. Just off the kitchen is a WC and cloakroom with access to the parking area at the side of the house. From the kitchen, French doors open into a fine conservatory with cane furniture and doors into the beautiful garden.
Carpeted stairs to landing. Master bed-room with 4ft 6in oak framed bed and range of oak wardrobes and chests of drawers. Further double room with 4ft 6in Sealy bed and a Provencal linen press (drawers and wardrobe) and en-suite shower room, with shower, basin and WC. Bedroom with 4ft 6in double bed and wardrobe. Children's room with A Space bunk-beds 3ft. Bathroom with bath, basin and WC.

Outside: Small walled garden area to the front of the house and wrought iron gates at the side of the house, open into parking area for 2/3 cars. The lovely private and enclosed rear garden has winding paths through lawns and views to the estuary and Salcombe. The garden contains patio areas with garden dining furniture to seat up to 8 and barbecue.
