The Bull's House was exactly that, the winter quarters where the farm bull was housed! This is a delightful detached cottage, very warm, cosy, well furnished and equipped and in no way resembles the byre it once was. Farmland extends on two sides of the cottage and a private footpath wends its way from the cottage down to the water's edge at Frogmore Creek, where it joins a public footpath along the estuary. Well placed for access to the whole South Hams, there is plenty of opportunity for boating, walking and enjoying the superb wildlife of the Creek.

Accommodation

Entrance hall. Carpeted stairs to a charming beamed living room, divided into two areas by the stair well. The sitting area has a large comfortable sofa and chair, TV with DVD, a raised woodburner and country views from the window. The kitchen area, well fitted and equipped, has an electric hob, built-under oven, dishwasher, microwave, a good sized fridge/freezer and dining table to seat 4. French doors open to wooden steps that lead down to a superb deck area. A washer/dryer is housed under the stairs in the hallway. On the ground floor are two bedrooms, both with attractive pine furniture and French doors to the front patio area. Double bedroom with 4ft 6in bed and twin room with 3ft beds. Bathroom with bath, shower over, heated towel rail, basin and WC.

Outside: A gated driveway leads into an enclosed area in front of the cottage. There are 2 secure farm buildings (not in use), at the front and side of the cottage and a private lane leads down to the Creek. In front of the cottage is an enclosed paved patio area with steps up to the deck area on one side. Steps down from kitchen to deck area, provided with table, chairs and bordered by fields. Note: It is possible to drive with a trailer down to the creek for launching of small boats with a 4x4 vehicle.

No cot or high chair - limited bedroom space.
Central heating (oil) from end September to Spring Bank Holiday £20 a week.
Telephone: No telephone but mobile reception good.
No smoking
Parking: Parking bay at the front of the cottage for 2 cars. Ample room for trailer.
Beach at Torcross 3 miles. Garage and extensive shop 2 minutes walk. Pub and home bakery in Frogmore by road or by public footpath approximately half a mile.
