This absolutely wonderful historic, detached house, reputedly the oldest in the village, occupies an outstanding and totally unique position
, that is hard to equal. Set on a rocky promontory above the small village of Torcross, the dramatic views from nearly all the rooms are quite breathtaking; west round the craggy cliffs to the lighthouse at Start Point and east to Dartmouth, taking in Slapton Ley, the three mile beach of Slapton Sands and this beautiful part of the South Hams coastline. On a clear day one can see for many miles beyond to Portland Bill. The house itself is brimming with character, stone and timber beamed walls, lovely old doors, flagstone floors and old fireplaces abound. There are doors from several rooms to the attractive terraces or balconies. Spacious and comfortable, this house really is a must for those looking for something special.
