This fabulous light, bright, very spacious contemporary home has just been converted to a very high standard from an old barn and is situated in the centre of the charming village of South Pool, opposite the well known watering hole, The Millbrook Inn and a few steps from the creek that meanders out to the wide stretches of the Salcombe estuary. South Pool is considered to be one of the prettiest creek-side villages in the South Hams, with quaint colourful village cottages and a Saxon Church. The village is ideally central, close to the South Devon coastal path and provides wonderful walks along Devon's rugged coastline. There is much else to do in the area with sailing at Salcombe and Dartmouth and the Salcombe/Kingsbridge estuary to explore and all to be enjoyed from the extreme comfort of this most attractive reverse level home.

Accommodation
Front door into hallway. Two glass panelled staircases rise to the living areas, one to the kitchen the other to the sitting room. These two fabulous rooms divide and extend across the entire length of the property both featuring extensive sky lights, exposed vaulted roof beams, superb lighting and polished wood laminate floors. The sitting room is delightfully furnished with large comfortable cream and duck-egg blue sofas, a widescreen TV with Sky (including Sky Sport), DVD and stereo CD/tape player. Cushioned window seats extend across the huge feature window that covers an entire wall and gives views up the village street. Door into the superb kitchen diner with two large dining tables, and a very smart well equipped, modern kitchen, exceptionally well fitted and provided with eye level electric double oven, electric ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer. An area is set aside here as a children's snug with Sky TV, video/DVD player, table, chairs and a sofa-bed. A washing machine and tumble dryer are located in a cupboard downstairs.
On ground level are the bedrooms and bathrooms, all of outstanding quality. Bedroom 1: a roomy bedroom with 5ft bed, fitted cupboards, safe, TV and en-suite with walk-in shower, basin and WC. Bedroom 2: twin room with 3ft beds and a separate, adjacent shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. Bedroom 3: a double room with attractive 5ft wrought iron bedstead and a screened door to the outside. Bedroom 4: a very spacious room with 5ft double bed, fitted cupboards, TV and two single 3ft day beds. This room also has an en-suite bathroom with a luxury roll-top bath with hand-held shower attachment, basin and WC. There is a further separate bathroom with bath, hand-held shower, basin and WC. Bedroom 5: off the kitchen/diner is a further small bedroom with a single 3ft bed.
Outside: Low posts and chains separate the property boundaries from the road at the front and there is a paved patio area and gravelled parking area for up to 3 cars. Steps curve up the side of the house to a gate that leads into the garden. This very private, totally enclosed, sunny spot is also accessed from the landing of the kitchen stairs and opens onto a paved area with garden furniture and barbecue. A few steps lead up to a lawn bordered by raised beds. Garden shed for cycle storage etc.
