Situated within the grounds of Coleridge Place, overlooking one of the loveliest areas in England, this single storey detached Lodge enjoys fantastic views of the glorious sweep of Slapton Sands and the craggy headland that curves round to Start Point lighthouse. It is just a short distance to the shingle beach at Strete Gate and Slapton Sands beyond, and only a couple of miles from the picturesque Blackpool Sands, a lovely crescent shaped stretch of coarse sand surrounded by green fields, magnificent pines, craggy cliffs and a turquoise blue sea. The property overlooks Slapton Ley, a National Nature reserve, where bird watching and fishing can be enjoyed. The villages of Strete, Stoke Fleming and Slapton are close by and it is convenient for the historic naval port of Dartmouth, a few miles away.
The Lodge has been totally refurbished and now provides extremely comfortable, most attractive and well-appointed contemporary accommodation with wonderful views from the open plan living room.

Accommodation
Entrance into covered porch with washer/ dryer. Contemporary, south facing, open plan living room, which comprises sitting area with wood burning stove, TV/DVD, well equipped kitchen with ceramic touch-control electric hob, built-in electric double oven, fridge with ice box, dishwasher and microwave; dining area. Double bedroom with 4ft 6in bed. Twin bedroom with two 3ft beds. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. There is a fold-up bed for an extra child only (on request). Brand new bathroom with bath, basin, WC and shower. Separate shower room with shower cubicle, basin and WC.

Outside: Shared access with the owner who lives at Coleridge Place further up the drive. The garden has sloping lawns on the seaward side of the Lodge with excellent views. Garden table and chairs.

Duvets, pillows, bed linen, towels (please bring own beach towels), summer electricity and central heating (gas) included. Travel cot, high chair available.
Central heating (LPG) from end of September to Spring Bank Holiday £25 per week.

Parking: For 2 cars
Beach at Strete Gate two thirds of a mile via coastal path (steep hill), Blackpool Sands 2 miles. Shop P/O village store, pub and restaurants 1 mile.
Watersports facilities offering kayaking, zapcats, wake boarding and kite/wind surfing are available at either Blackpool Sands or Slapton Sands.
