Copletts Cottage is one of a row of picturesque cottages in the village of South Pool. The original stone and cob cottage, now semi-detached, dates back to around the 16th century and would have been thatched for most of its history. Now under a slate roof with an extension to the back which houses a 'state of the art' kitchen, it has been painstakingly refurbished to retain much of its old character to combine with clean, contemporary interior design. South Pool, one of the South Hams' most scenic and popular villages, is quietly located on one of the Salcombe Kingsbridge estuary's inlets and is surrounded by Devonshire lanes and rolling countryside. For those looking for a chance to sample the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful environment of this part of South Devon, Copletts Cottage is an excellent and timeless place to stay and enjoy your holiday from.

Accommodation
Entrance at the rear of the cottage, approached from the road through a gate. Glass panelled door into large open plan living and dining room. Beamed ceiling, woodburner set in striking, stone, open fireplace with original bread oven. The living room area has a fine, flag stone floor, 3 seater sofa, winged easy chair, TV, DVD player and CD/radio player. The carpeted dining room area has an oak dining table and seating for 4. Hand crafted wall lights adorn the walls and contribute to an overall cosy yet spacious ambiance. From the living room, a walk through and step down leads into a super, modern kitchen with exposed stone and cob wall, conservation light, roof window, slate tiled floor, solid oak hand built cupboard units, granite worktops with spotlights above, inset butler's sink, large range, electric, stainless steel oven and ceramic hob, microwave, concealed fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. To one side is a stable door to the terrace garden. Between the kitchen and living room is a shower room with stylish shower, basin and W C. Short carpeted staircase to a small landing and two bedrooms. Double bedroom with 4ft 6in. bed, built in cupboard and window with views across trees, fields and countryside. Ensuite luxury bathroom with bath, central taps and large wall mirror above, basin and W C. Twin bedroom with two 3ft. beds, antique pine wardrobe and view to the front of the cottage across the lane below.
Outside: Sunny, south facing, enclosed patio terrace with planters and tubs, teak table and chairs, parasol and barbecue.

Parking Space for 1 large vehicle immediately in front of the cottage on cobblestones. Further on road parking further up the lane.
Beach at East Portlemouth, approximately 3½ miles, village pub with good menu 100 yards, shop, bakery and pub Frogmore 1½ miles.
