Court Barton Cottages
Peacefully situated in a tiny hamlet in one of the loveliest corners of Devon betwixt Salcombe and Thurlestone are the attractive group of converted Georgian barns that comprise Court Barton. Set in beautiful landscaped gardens and grounds of four acres, the cottages surround two attractive courtyards and the majority have superb, uninterrupted views down the valley to the sea at Thurlestone Sands.
The cottages enjoy the use of both outdoor and indoor swimming pools, an all-weather tennis court, and the grounds include an orchard and croquet lawn.
Should you wish to leave the comfort of this delightful place, less than a mile away is the beach at Thurlestone Sands, wonderful for sunbathing, swimming and watersports, with the village of Thurlestone itself a little further on with its famous links golf course. The beautiful sailing mecca of the Salcombe estuary with its golden beaches is only 3 miles. This is a gorgeous spot, ideal for walking, golf, bird watching, sailing and all types of watersports.

Each cottage is very comfortably equipped and attractively furnished in a charming country style. The kitchens are fitted and well equipped with an eye level electric oven, electric hob, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer and fridge with ice box. The cottages have TVs with DVD and CD/radio players. All bathrooms have heated towel rails and all bedrooms have fitted cupboards.

Outside: Court Barton is approached along a private drive and each cottage has its own designated parking space and there is plenty of visitor parking. Grouped around and accessed from two flower filled courtyards, with manicured lawns, each cottage has either its own private terrace or balcony provided with garden furniture. The extensive grounds are enclosed and bordered by fields with outstanding views down to the sea.

Facilities:
- Outdoor swimming pool. 5m x 9.8m heated and available from May to September weather permitting.
- Indoor swimming pool. 5.5m x 11m heated and available all year. His and Hers changing rooms. Shower room with basin and WC.
- Tennis Court. Newly resurfaced and set in a peaceful location in the grounds. Rackets and balls provided.
- Croquet Lawn. Beautifully maintained, perfect for a battle of mallets and wits! Croquet set provided. Built-in barbecue alongside.
- Reception. This is manned from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday inclusive. A comfortable area close to reception is provided with Broadband WiFi and seating for those who wish to catch up on those essential emails (available only during reception open hours).

Applicable to all cottages:
Duvets, pillows, bed linen, towels, summer electricity and all on site facilities included. Swimming towels provided at extra charge.
Cots and high chairs available by arrangement.
Heating (night storage) and electricity from end September to Spring Bank Holiday charged by meter reading.
Pets welcome. Must be well behaved and kept on leads within the grounds. Dog pack and a special dog walking area provided.
Telephones: Calls are logged and must be settled before departure at reception.

Parking: Designated parking space for each cottage, with ample extra visitor parking.
Beach Thurlestone Sands 1 mile. Hope Cove under 2 miles. Shop and pub 1¼ miles at Malborough. Salcombe with shops, pubs, restaurants and beaches 3 miles.

The Upper Courtyard
Eight cottages form this pretty quadrangle with its small sunken garden, flowering shrubs and blossom trees. Five of the cottages have sea views, the remaining three have garden and country views. The entrance for the indoor pool is in the quadrangle.

Court Barton Cottage No 6. Accommodation: (Currently being refurnished therefore furniture may alter from photographs)
Completely refurbished in 2007, this cottage is a departure from the pretty country style of the majority of Court Barton cottages. Here we have fine oak floors, slate sills, smart contemporary bathrooms and a stylish modern kitchen which, combined with the superb views down to the sea and surroundings, make this something very special.

Stable door into spacious living room with oak floor, superb views and sliding patio doors with two steps down to the terrace. There are two generous sofas (one a 4ft 6in sofa-bed) and dining table to seat 8. The room extends into a smart new kitchen with granite work surfaces, large fridge and separate freezer, built-in larder shelving, Neff ceramic hob and electric built-under oven, integral Neff microwave, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Downstairs bathroom with tiled floor, basin, WC and bath with shower over. Open tread stairs to the landing. Twin bedroom with 3ft beds. Small single bedroom with 3ft bed. Master bedroom with 5ft double bed and sea views. Bathroom with bath, shower over plus hand shower, basin and WC.
