Court Barton Cottages
Peacefully situated in a tiny hamlet in one of the loveliest corners of Devon betwixt Salcombe and Thurlestone are the attractive group of converted Georgian barns that comprise Court Barton. Set in beautiful landscaped gardens and grounds of four acres, the cottages surround two attractive courtyards and the majority have superb, uninterrupted views down the valley to the sea at Thurlestone Sands.
The cottages enjoy the use of both outdoor and indoor swimming pools, an all-weather tennis court, and the grounds include an orchard and croquet lawn.
Should you wish to leave the comfort of this delightful place, less than a mile away is the beach at Thurlestone Sands, wonderful for sunbathing, swimming and watersports, with the village of Thurlestone itself a little further on with its famous links golf course. The beautiful sailing mecca of the Salcombe estuary with its golden beaches is only 3 miles. This is a gorgeous spot, ideal for walking, golf, bird watching, sailing and all types of watersports.

Each cottage is very comfortably equipped and attractively furnished in a charming country style. The kitchens are fitted and well equipped with an eye level electric oven, electric hob, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer and fridge with ice box. The cottages have TVs with DVD and CD/radio players. All bathrooms have heated towel rails and all bedrooms have fitted cupboards.

Outside: Court Barton is approached along a private drive and each cottage has its own designated parking space and there is plenty of visitor parking. Grouped around and accessed from two flower filled courtyards, with manicured lawns, each cottage has either its own private terrace or balcony provided with garden furniture. The extensive grounds are enclosed and bordered by fields with outstanding views down to the sea.

Facilities:
- Outdoor swimming pool. 5m x 9.8m heated and available from May to September weather permitting.
- Indoor swimming pool. 5.5m x 11m heated and available all year. His and Hers changing rooms. Shower room with basin and WC.
- Tennis Court. Set in a peaceful location in the grounds. Rackets and balls provided.
- Croquet Lawn. Beautifully maintained, perfect for a battle of mallets and wits! Croquet set provided. Built-in barbecue alongside.
- Reception. This is manned from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday inclusive. A comfortable area close to reception is provided with Broadband WiFi and seating for those who wish to catch up on those essential emails (available only during reception open hours).

Applicable to all cottages:
Duvets, pillows, bed linen, towels, summer electricity and all on site facilities included. Swimming towels provided at extra charge.
Cots and high chairs available by arrangement.
Heating (night storage) and electricity from end September to Spring Bank Holiday charged by meter reading.
Pets welcome. Must be well behaved and kept on leads within the grounds. Dog pack and a special dog walking area provided.
Telephones: Calls are logged and must be settled before departure at reception.

Parking: Designated parking space for each cottage, with ample extra visitor parking.
Beach Thurlestone Sands 1 mile. Hope Cove under 2 miles. Shop and pub 1¼ miles at Malborough. Salcombe with shops, pubs, restaurants and beaches 3 miles.

The Upper Courtyard
Eight cottages form this pretty quadrangle with its small sunken garden, flowering shrubs and blossom trees. Five of the cottages have sea views, the remaining three have garden and country views. The entrance for the indoor pool is in the quadrangle.

The Loft (Currently being refurnished therefore furniture may differ from photographs)

Completely refurbished in 2007, this cottage is a treat in store for those wanting luxury, and quite outstanding views across farmland to the sea. The fine oak floors, slate sills, smart contemporary bathrooms and a stylish modern kitchen combine with superb views and surroundings, to provide quite exceptional accommodation.
Railed exterior stone steps lead up to the front door and first floor level. The landing divides: 2 steps down to a twin bedroom (3ft beds), oak floor and courtyard view. 2 steps down on the other side to spacious master bedroom, 5ft double bed, superb views and a fine en-suite bathroom featuring a bath with hand shower, separate double shower cubicle, basin and WC. Off the entrance area is a further bathroom with bath, shower over and hand shower, basin and WC. Stairs rise to the second floor level to a superb living room with triple aspect windows and patio doors to a balcony that overlooks the whole valley and outstanding views down to Thurlestone Sands. This stunning room has oak flooring with the stair well enclosed with a glass and steel balustrade. Two generous sofas (one a 4ft 6in sofa-bed) and dining table to seat 6. The room extends through into a smart contemporary fitted kitchen with large fridge and separate freezer, built-in larder shelving, Neff gas hob and electric built-under oven, integral Neff microwave, Miele washer/dryer and dishwasher.
