This magnificent, very spacious, detached, newly converted 200 year old barn is set deep in the South Devon countryside in a quiet hamlet off the old coach road between Salcombe and Kingsbridge, just 3 miles from the South Hams coastline and sandy beaches. The property is furnished, decorated and equipped to the highest standard and within its mellow ancient walls the light spacious living areas have large windows that overlook the lovely gardens that feature a fine terrace, a stream, pools and extend on to pastureland beyond. Easton Court adjoins a working dairy farm with a herd of approximately 100 Fresian cattle and enjoys lovely country views across the neighbouring farmland.
Accommodation
From the gravel courtyard, front door into flagstone hallway. Stairs to first floor and a superb spacious living room featuring a high vaulted and beamed ceiling, stone tiled floor, large windows and double glazed doors to the terrace all comfortably furnished with sofas, chairs, TV/video/DVD and large dining table. Superbly fitted and equipped kitchen with integral larder fridge, dishwasher, a large Rangemaster electric cooker with double oven and separate grill, five ring ceramic hob and microwave. Separate utility room with freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, off which is a cloakroom with basin and WC. Off the downstairs hall are four bedrooms. Bedrooms 1 and 4: Double bedrooms (5ft beds) both with en suite shower rooms with shower, basin and WC. Bedrooms 2 and 3: Twin bedded rooms (3ft beds) one with full length windows to the courtyard. Family bathroom with bath and shower over, basin and WC. Garden access. Bedroom 5: This is reached by stairs to the second floor, at one end of a galleried walkway and is a large room with 5ft double bed, beamed ceiling and en-suite bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Two convertible beds are available for children only.
Outside: The garden extends to approximately 2 acres with patios, lawns, pastureland with trees, shrubs, flower gardens and three terraced pools and a small stream (small children will need to be supervised).
