Nestling in the tiny, rural and peaceful hamlet of Easton, just a mile from the tidal Avon estuary with wonderful walks along the wooded river banks and 2.5 miles from the gorgeous sandy beaches at Bigbury on Sea, stands this former elegant Victorian Country House. Easton House is the principle part of this stylish South West facing property set in a pretty valley near the village of Bigbury. An elegant spacious hall and landing with chandeliers, thick pile carpets and coved ceilings give this lovely home an air of opulence along with the 32ft long kitchen/diner (an excellent family room) and the sophisticated drawing room. Although the house is large and has very spacious rooms, it would still be an ideal holiday retreat for a couple or two, as it has a lovely restful atmosphere and is very comfortably furnished.
Accommodation
Front door opens into the hall. Very light, dual aspect spacious Drawing room, with original open fireplace, bay windows, 3 comfy sofas, TV, video, DVD player, small hi-fi system. Ground floor small, single bedroom with 2ft 6in bed. Small den, ideal for kiddies, with a settee, TV, video
player (some videos provided) and children's toys. Very well equipped kitchen diner with slate flagged floor and fitted with good quality units at one end of the room, separated from the dining area by a breakfast bar. Enormous electric Belling oven with 5 ceramic hob plates plus 1 solid burner, 2 ovens and separate grill. Microwave, inte-grated dishwasher and fridge with freezer compartment. Radio. Dining/ breakfast area to seat 7, with table, chairs and window seat. French doors to patio and garden. Utility room with tumble dryer, washing machine/dryer, sink, fitted cupboards and fridge freezer. Original staircase leads up from the hall to a half landing with huge part stained glass window. Cloakroom with basin and WC. The staircase continues up to the first floor landing off which there are 3 bedrooms. Attractive dual aspect master bedroom with 5ft bed (zip linked, so can convert to singles), infant bed (up to 5 years), walk in wardrobe, original open fireplace (not in use). Luxury fully tiled en-suite bathroom with bath with shower attachment, basin, WC and mirror covering one entire wall above the bath. Twin room with 2 x 3ft beds and en-suite shower room with power shower, basin and WC. Further bedroom with set of full size 3ft bunk beds plus single 3ft bed with iron bedstead and original fireplace (not in use). Small cot room (no windows though door can be left ajar with a hook). Shower room with double shower, basin and WC.
Outside: Large enclosed garden, mainly laid to lawn, patio with garden furniture.

Included duvets, pillows, bed linen (not towels), cot, high chair, booster chair, electricity and summer central heating (if required).
Central heating (oil) from end of September to Spring Bank Holiday £25 per week.
Pets: One well behaved dog by arrangement with the owners and Toad Hall Cottages. (Dog must be kept in the kitchen and utility areas only). Pet charge £20 per pet per week.
Parking: Ample parking in the drive.
Sandy beaches 2.5 miles. Shops and 2 pubs within half mile. Golf course 1 mile.
