Goodwinds, a recently refurbished terraced Victorian seaside cottage, sits alongside the sea wall that protects the village of Torcross and enjoys glorious views of Start Bay. The beach, just steps from the front door, is the western end of the golden three mile stretch of shingle that is Slapton Sands. Flanked on one side by the freshwater lake of Slapton Ley, a national nature reserve, this beautiful area is a haven for naturalists, bird watchers, walkers and beach lovers alike. Watersports equipment can be hired on the beach including kite surfing with qualified instructors. After an energetic day on the beach or walking the Coastal Path take your ease from the comfort of this family home on the terrace and watch the ships on the horizon, or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening sunshine in the rear patio garden overlooking the Ley. Goodwinds is a very comfortable, attractive property, well equipped, bright and fresh after its recent refurbishment and ideally situated for a wonderful beach-side holiday.

Smart new fitted kitchen with ceramic hob and electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, breakfast bar and stools. Downstairs WC with basin. Tiled conservatory with sunloungers and door to rear courtyard garden. Stairs to first floor. Spacious double room (5ft bed), pull out truckle bed beneath suitable for a child, wonderful views. Bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Separate shower room with shower, basin and WC and a Victorian fireplace! Stairs to 2nd floor. Twin room with 2ft 6in beds that can be clip linked to form a double, fitted cupboard and views over the Ley. Further double bedroom with 5ft bed, pull out truckle bed beneath suitable for a child and sea views.
Outside: At the front of the cottage is a raised terrace area provided with table and chairs. To the rear is a parking place with a gate into a courtyard garden with a new raised deck area provided with garden furniture and barbecue.

Included: Duvets, pillows, bed linen (not towels), cot, high chair and electricity.
New oil central heating system will be installed in Autumn 2008. Currently night store and convector heating. End September to Spring Bank Holiday £20 a week.

Parking off-road for one car, plus on road in marked bays for a second for which a ticket is provided. This also allows parking in many other South Hams council car parks.
Beach on the doorstep, pubs, shops, cafés (Wi-Fi) and P/O stores a short level walk.
