Gull Cottage is the prettiest, picture book, thatched 16th century idyll imaginable - a treat in store for couples who want to get away from it all to relax and unwind in the heart of this most attractive and popular village. Tucked down an enchanting lane that leads to the church amidst more picture book cottages, this is a real hideaway, cosy, inviting, tastefully and comfortably furnished and with a delightful very secluded garden. Two good pubs beckon for tasty evening meals, there is a well stocked village store to provide everyday needs and fabulous walking down to the spectacular beach of Slapton Sands, backed by the extraordinary fresh water lagoon, a National Nature reserve. Treat yourself and your partner and come to Gull cottage!
Accommodation:
Front door into tiny hallway. Charming beamed living room with a feature inglenook housing an attractive wood burner, sofa, chairs, TV/VCR, a selection of video tapes, numerous books and a small dining table and chairs. Access out to the delightful garden. Small galley kitchen with electric cooker, microwave oven and fridge with ice compartment. From the kitchen carpeted spiral stairs lead to the attractive double bedroom with pretty views over the garden. Twin 2ft 6in zip linked beds form a large double bed and the fireplace houses a coal effect fire. Fitted wardrobe. The adjoining bathroom has a bath, basin, heated towel rail and WC.
Outside: At the rear of the cottage is a charming, very secluded garden with a paved area adjacent to the cottage provided with table and chairs. The lawned garden has a wooden love bench, unusual ceramic table and views across a meadow.
