An attractive market town, Kingsbridge is at the head of the Salcombe estuary, the hub of the South Hams, from where roads radiate to the stunning coastline with coves, sandy beaches, rugged cliffs and on into the beautiful hinterland of classic Devon landscapes, quaint villages, historic towns and the wilderness of Dartmoor not much further on. This sweet little cottage with its pretty, cosy rooms, pine doors, period features and a suntrap of a garden provides a delightful base from which to explore it all.

Stable door into delightful, most attractive and very cosy living room with a two comfortable sofas, large TV with Sky and DVD, CD player, flagstone floor with a rug and feature fireplace inset with a wood burning stove. Dining table to seat 4. Door into small very smart, well equipped and fitted kitchen with electric cooker with ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. The downstairs bathroom has a bath with electric shower over, basin and WC. Carpeted stairs to a small twin room with 3ft beds, TV and cupboard and a pretty double room with a fine (5ft) wrought iron bedstead, Victorian fireplace, fitted pine cupboards and views over the countryside.
Outside: The cottage fronts onto a quiet village lane. At the rear, accessed from the kitchen, are steep stone steps (children and the infirm need to take care) up to a pretty enclosed garden with a paved terrace provided with teak table and directors' chairs and three lawn terraces with mature trees and fine country views.
