This quaint, circa 200 year old semi-detached cottage is tucked away on the edge of the tiny hamlet of Ford on a single track country lane and is perfect for a tranquil countryside holiday, yet only a few minutes drive from the fringes of the Salcombe/Kingsbridge estuary with glorious beaches at Millbay and Sunny Cove, not to mention the superb South West coastal path and the many attractive towns and villages of the South Hams. The cottage, warm and cosy, is very traditional with lots of exposed beams, feature stone walls with pretty country views from the windows and enjoys a large, well-kept natural garden.

Accommodation
Stable door from the lane into the cosy beamed living room that has a comfortable sofa, chairs, TV and DVD player, music system, books and games. A feature stone fireplace houses a wood burning stove and there is a dining alcove with table and seating for 4. Door through to the kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge with ice compartment, pine table, chairs, fine pine dresser and new kitchen units. A small lobby off the kitchen provides access to the rear courtyard and door into the downstairs bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Stairs from the living room to the landing and two bedrooms. Roomy double bedroom with 4ft 6in bed, pretty window views and decorative Victorian fireplace. Twin bedroom (3ft) beds, exposed roof beams and hanging cupboard. Between the bedrooms is a separate WC with basin.

Outside: To the rear of the cottage is a small, enclosed paved courtyard with table and chairs. At the front, across the lane, is a large enclosed garden, with lawns, lovely views, a raised level area with garden furniture, and an area for parking.
