Marine Cottage, a handsome and exceedingly comfortable, detached family town house, is situated in a residential part of the town, 500 yards up from the old part of Salcombe. Gleaming polished pine floors, attractive rugs, superb bed linen, fine soft furnishings and the stunning estuary views combine to make this a very comfortable and convenient house in the centre of Salcombe.
Marine Cottage provides very flexible accommodation; let as a whole it is ideal for extended families, but in low and mid seasons it can be divided to provide entirely separate accommodation for up to six persons in the main part of the house (Cottage), with entry from the kitchen; or for two persons to enjoy the stunning Marine studio, with separate entry and original staircase from the front porch.

Accommodation:
Steps up to enclosed porch and door into hallway. Original staircase from the front hall up to a very spacious, most attractive studio room that has superb panoramic 270 degree views from the floor to ceiling windows, over the estuary towards Kingsbridge, South Pool, Goodshelter, East Portlemouth, Blanksmill and Frogmore Creeks, including the surrounding hills. There is a generous 4ft 6in sofa-bed, TV with video/DVD, stereo/CD player, dining area with table and chairs. The small kitchen area has a fridge with ice box and electric cooker. En-suite shower room with shower enclosure, basin, bidet and WC.

Outside:
A gate from the road leads into the front garden. From here a further gate at the side of the property opens to the paved patio area provided with built-in barbecue, teak table and chairs and extends out to a lawn edged with shrubs, palm trees and access to the double parking bay at the rear. Note: the rear garden is only available to the Studio if the main part of the house is not let.

Towels, cot, high chair & stair gate by arrangement with owner.
Central heating (gas) from end September to Spring Bank Holiday £10 for the Studio.
Security Deposit: £75 for the Studio.

Parking:
For 2 cars in parking bay in front of garage. Further unrestricted on road parking.
Beaches at Mill Bay, Sunny Cove across the estuary by foot ferry.
Shops pubs, restaurants and quayside 8 minutes walk down (longer coming back!). Spa shop around the corner.
