Toad Hall Cottages

Local stories abound that this charming little end of terrace cottage used to be owned by the legendary England goalkeeper Peter Shilton. No doubt he too enjoyed the view of Bigbury bay from the garden and the fact that both the golf course and the wide sandy beaches of Bigbury-on-Sea are just 1.5 miles down the road. There are superb footpath walks from the doorstep and the cottage provides a cosy, attractive and comfortable home in a lovely area.

Accommodation
Front door into hallway. Glazed door into most attractive carpeted and beamed sitting room with a feature open fireplace set under a substantial lintel. The room has two generous sofas, a chair, TV with DVD and VCR and a small dining table and chairs. Access from hallway into a downstairs shower room with shower, basin and WC. The small but well fitted pine kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge with ice compartment, slimline dishwasher and washing machine. Bright and airy, modern conservatory/diner with table, chairs to seat 5, dresser and doors to garden. Carpeted stairs to the landing. Pretty double bedroom with 5ft bed, fitted wardrobes and village views. Small bunk bedroom with a full size set of 3ft bunks suitable for children and a single bedroom with 3ft bed, both with views to the bay. Small bathroom with bath, hand shower over, basin and WC.
Outside: A paved patio area in front of the cottage is protected from the road by a five bar gate. The pretty enclosed garden is at the side of the cottage, faces South West with good views to Bigbury bay and the sea. The garden has table, chairs and portable barbecue.
