Toad Hall Cottages

Netherton Farmhouse is a really lovely historic farmhouse with Saxon origins and set in five acres of pastureland tucked in a hidden valley with very peaceful views across meadows and woods. Attached to one side of the farmhouse is The Cottage, where the mellow, yellow limed walls invite you inside to a tastefully and most attractively decorated and furnished haven. The detached Studio is set to one side of the farmhouse, with a private decked balcony that overlooks green lawns and provides very smart, modern light and bright accommodation for two. Both these properties are a treat for couples, romantic hideaways deep in the heart of the South Hams.
By arrangement with the owners, guests have use of a fabulous heated outdoor swimming pool (10M x 5M). Weather permitting the pool is open from Easter until the end of October. There is a pond and stream near the shared parking area and guests are welcome to explore the surrounding land. A washing machine and dryer are housed in an adjoining out-building for the use of both properties. Barbecue available.

Netherton Cottage Accommodation:
Steps up to the front door. Spacious living room with polished wood floors, a feature inglenook fireplace inset with a wood burner, sofa (this converts to a sofa-bed suitable for one), TV with video and DVD, stereo CD/tape player and farmhouse table to seat 4. The kitchen area has an electric hob and oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Carpeted stairs to a stunning light and airy bedroom with lovely valley views, pitched ceiling beams, attractive 5ft bed and tucked in an alcove is a delightful daybed (3ft). The en-suite bathroom has bath with shower attachment, basin built into a cupboard unit and WC.

Outside: A raised deck area with chairs and table opens off the living room. Shared use of the gardens to the side and rear of the Cottage.

Duvets, pillows, bed linen, towels, electricity included in both properties. Initial supply of logs for burner in The Cottage.
Cot, high chair available on request.
Central heating (oil in Cottage) from end of September to Spring Bank Holiday £20 a week, each property.
Pets: Dogs welcome with security deposit £50. Pet charge £20 per pet per week.
