Old SchoolSouth PoolSelf catering holiday cottageSouth Devon |
South Pool is certainly one of the most attractive villages in the South Hams, where you can enjoy a delicious pub meal at the well-known Millbrook Inn, walk along the nearby coastal path, launch your boat into the Salcombe estuary from the slipway in the creek and, tides permitting, do your shopping in Salcombe, enjoy a spot of fishing or simply spend the day on one of the many gorgeous beaches on this side of the estuary. Formerly the village school, and around 150 years old, the Old School is a spacious, comfortable, detached family home situated near the thirteenth century church at the top of the village with views across the village and surrounding countryside and is set in an attractive enclosed garden. The house has a lovely sunny aspect with a south facing terrace, is well insulated with full double-glazing, central heating, as well as an open fire, so it is very warm in winter which makes it ideal for both winter breaks and summer sojourns.
