This charismatic end of terrace coastguard cottage overlooks the dreamy inlet of Waterhead Creek, alongside which a 5 minute walk brings you to the pretty riverside town of Kingswear. Here there are shops and pubs, regular car ferries to Dartmouth and the famous Dart Valley steam train to Goodrington Sands for a day on the beach. The cottage is charming, newly refurbished with simply lovely views and nearby spectacular coastal walks makes it a perfect spot from which to explore this beautiful part of the world.

Steps up to porch. Cosy sitting room with creek views, stripped polished floor boards, rugs, comfortable double sofa-bed, armchairs, attractive multi fuel burner, TV, video, DVD player and CD/radio. Newly fitted luxury kitchen/diner, with ceramic hob, built in oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and dining area with table and chairs and door to lobby. Lobby area with stable door out to rear courtyard with outhouse, housing washing machine. Carpeted stairs up landing, leading to double bedroom with creek views, handsome 5ft brass bedstead and TV. Bunk bedroom with 3ft bunks. New shower room with thermostatically controlled shower, basin and WC.

Outside: A path leads up from the road below and runs across the terrace, (also giving access for the other cottages). Rear courtyard screened for privacy (also providing access for 2 other cottages). Paved patio at the front overlooking woods, Waterhead Creek and the river Dart. To the side, a pretty stream with a small wooden bridge leads to a further secluded patio, with superb creek and river views to Dartmouth and provided with table, chairs and barbecue.

Beach at Brixham 4 miles, Goodrington Sands 20 minutes by train, Blackpool Sands 4 miles from Dartmouth.
