Toad Hall Cottages

This charming garden cottage adjoins a lovely 18th Century, private, country house with which it shares a sublime setting of wide lawns with spreading trees, a babbling brook and woodland glades, all a paradise for children and country lovers alike. This exceptionally comfortable cottage offers privacy and peace with the charming old port and market town of Bideford on the Torridge estuary just one and a half miles, and the huge sandy beach at Northam Burrows only 4 miles. Home, organically grown fruit and vegetables are available when in season at reasonable prices.
Guests have use of a tennis court by arrangement with owners. (Please bring own tennis equipment.)

Accommodation
Entrance hall. Spacious period sitting room with very comfortable three piece suite, some attractive antique furniture, TV and video, and an open fire set in a fine fireplace. Books, puzzles and board games are provided. The kitchen/dining room has an electric cooker, washer/dryer, microwave and fridge/freezer. There is a circular table with seating for 6. Downstairs WC. The stairs lead up from the hall to the landing. The double bedroom with 5ft bed is light and sunny with dual aspect windows with a door to adjoining corridor/landing providing space for two Z beds. Twin bedroom with 3ft beds. Bathroom with bath and basin, and a separate WC.
Outside: Private area of garden with garden furniture and a barbecue. Access to woodland glade and stream.

Duvets, pillows, blankets, bed linen, towels, cot, high chair, electricity, central heating (oil) and logs all included.
Pets are welcome but to be kept downstairs. Pet charge £20 per pet per week.
