This is an enchanting, beautifully restored, semi-detached country cottage, tucked deep in the countryside. Woolston is a tiny hamlet only half a mile from the main Kingsbridge to Salcombe road, and is therefore close to Thurlestone with its fine links golf course and beach; Salcombe with its interesting shops, wonderful sailing and sandy coves; and Kingsbridge with its excellent leisure centre and pool. Postmans Cottage is a delight to the eye, decorated and furnished with excellent taste and with every comfort in mind. The rear garden is a perfect sun trap. A welcoming tea is provided on arrival.

Accommodation
The front door leads directly into a most attractive beamed sitting room, with wood/coal burner set in an inglenook fireplace and original oak settle on one side. There are two large sofas, a TV, video, and stereo/CD player. The kitchen/diner is exceptionally well equipped with a quarry tiled floor and most attractive fitted range of cheerful yellow units, microwave oven, integrated fridge (with small freezer compartment), dishwasher and washer/dryer. The superb double oven electric range with halogen plates and spit gives an indication of the high standard of the cottage. The dining table has built-in seating on two sides below the pretty cottage window to the front of the property. Open balustrade carpeted stairs lead from the sitting room to the landing with French doors to patio and garden. Large airing cupboard. The master bedroom has a 5ft bed, pine furniture and fitted wardrobe and has an en-suite shower room with large separate shower, basin, heated towel rail, WC and window overlooking the garden. The second bedroom has twin 3ft beds, pine furniture and fitted cupboard. The family bathroom has unusual blue washed wood panelling, bath, central taps, handheld shower attachment, basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Outside: To the rear of the cottage, accessed from the landing, is a small, delightful, very sunny enclosed garden with patio and built-in curved stone bench, table, chairs, umbrella and barbecue. A few steps lead up to two sunny terraces with lawns, attractive borders and a relaxing summer house. Shared driveway to the front of the property.



Property: Self-catering holiday cottage
Duvets, pillows, high chair (no cot), electricity (summer) included.
Bed linen, (not towels) by prior arrangement with caretaker at £6 per head. Towels & Cot may be hired from THC.
Heating
and electricity end September to Spring Bank Holiday £25 a week. Wood/coal burner laid up in winter, thereafter supplies can be purchased locally.
