Rose cottage is a delightful, mid terrace, 18th Century cottage, tucked in the heart of picturesque Holbeton village. The cottage is most comfortable, fresh and pretty with charm and character and two open fires in the downstairs living accommodation. This really is a perfect base for exploring Holbeton and the wider area.
Visually time seems to have stood still in this lovely picture postcard, off-the-beaten-track spot. This lively village is friendly, close to the sea, has a school, post office and two pubs and is everything a village should be! Winter or summer there are endless opportunities to explore the nearby coastal path, build sand castles on unspoilt Mothecombe beach or enjoy a pint or two in the local hostelries a short walk away.

Accommodation
The front door opens from the lane into a porch. Attractive, roomy sitting room with an open fireplace set in a stone hearth, two comfortable sofas, a chair and flat screen TV with DVD and stable door to the garden. Door through to kitchen/diner with feature fireplace inset with a woodburner and dining table to seat 6. The kitchen has fitted units and is equipped with ceramic hob, built-under electric oven, microwave and fridge with icebox. Step up to a rear lobby with washer/dryer machine and door to the garden. Downstairs bathroom with bath, electric shower over, basin and WC. Wide carpeted stairs to the landing. Pretty double bedroom with wrought iron 4ft 6in double bed, decorative fireplace and wash hand basin. Second double bedroom with 4ft 6in bed. Bunk bedroom with a set of 3ft full size bunks.

Outside: The enclosed lawned garden extends from the rear of the cottage and has countryside views across an orchard, is provided with garden furniture and a barbecue (by arrangement).

Heating: (Night storage heating) From end Sept to Spring Bank Holiday £30 per week. First basket of logs supplied for wood burner and fire, further supplies can be bought locally.
