Rosemary Cottage

Rosemary Cottage

Callington

Self catering holiday cottage

Cornwall

Once a row of three tiny 300 year old tin miner's cottages, Rosemary Cottage is now a spacious, comfortable single storey dwelling retaining many attractive original features. Situated on Kit Hill, one of the highest points in Cornwall, within the owner's quiet and secluded garden that is reached down a long private drive, the cottage enjoys glorious far reaching views from Dartmoor to Bodmin Moor and is perfect for those who want to explore Devon and Cornwall. Both the moors are easily accessible by car as are many National Trust properties and gardens, golf courses and of course the Eden project. Indeed all the main Cornish attractions and both coasts are within reasonable travelling distance from this most attractive, peaceful and unspoilt spot.
Cream tea on arrival and fresh eggs and vegetables (when available) are provided by the owner.

Accommodation
Door into conservatory/diner with cane chairs and dining table to seat 6. Attractive beamed sitting room with feature stone hearth and open fireplace, sofa (converts to a bed for 1), chairs, TV/video, stereo CD/tape player and plenty of books and games. Step up into small, very neat kitchen, well fitted and equipped with electric cooker, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. A laundry room attached to the owner's house with separate entrance for guests has a washing machine and tumble dryer. Two attractive bedrooms, one with 4ft 6in double bed, the other with twin 3ft beds. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. The cottage is supplied with its own spring water.

Outside: The cottage has its own terrace, with garden furniture and barbecue and overlooks the kitchen garden and lovely views beyond. The long private drive leads on into woodlands with extensive walks and rides and guests are welcome to enjoy the owner's smallholding of 17 acres with horses, sheep, goats, poultry, dogs and cats.
