Toad Hall Cottages

This tiny period, mid terrace, cottage is perched on the side of a hill that descends down to North Hallsands, a small cluster of cottages alongside a shingle beach that forms part of the glorious expanse of Start Bay with the golden sweep of Slapton Sands in one direction and the craggy peaks of Start Point with its lighthouse in the other. This is fabulous walking country, the coastal path is close by and from which the rugged cliffs that dip into sandy coves along this section of the path can be explored. Seacombe is quaint, well equipped and furnished and set in a truly peaceful spot five minutes walk from Hallsands beach and with a small bird sanctuary and fishing ponds nearby.

Accommodation
A stable door leads directly into the living room with attractive wicker sofa, chairs, a grate for an open fire, folding table and 4 chairs, TV. Curtained arch through to small, simply fitted kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and fridge with ice box. Stairs up to a lobby with garden access, a pine bathroom with bath and basin. Separate WC with basin and washing machine. Two steps up to the bedrooms, one double room with 2ft 6in divans clipped together and a large shower in a corner. Children's room with twin 2ft 6in beds.

Outside: The cottage sits alongside a narrow lane. Step from the lobby to a small raised garden and patio with table and chairs and glimpses down to the sea.
