This exceptional detached house must command some of the best views in the country with breathtaking vistas that encompass the stunning beaches of Bantham, the Avon estuary, Burgh Island and the whole of the coast around Bigbury Bay and on to Bolt Tail - a feast for the eyes and senses at any time of the year! This superb property, with its own outdoor swimming pool, has recently been completely renovated is very spacious, with tiled or polished wood floors, underfloor heating throughout and the majority of the most comfortable rooms enjoy the outstanding views. The garden, which features superb decked areas laid to terraces, has its own access to a path that leads directly down to the beach.

Front door to hallway. The spacious living room has picture windows and patio doors that open to the decked area. A large range of very comfortable sofas face the views, with a wide screen TV with video/DVD and CD and dining table to seat 8. The very well equipped kitchen has a fine range of fitted units, built-in electric double oven, electric hob, washing machine, tumble dryer, large freezer and separate large fridge, dishwasher, TV and breakfast table to seat 4. Access from here to the pool area. The master bedroom has splendid views from the huge window, polished oak floor, a 5ft bed, fitted cupboards, TV and a fine, high quality en-suite bathroom with bath, basin, WC and a large corner shower. Twin bedroom with 3ft beds that can be zip linked has a fine range of storage shelves and fitted cupboards. Large, sumptuous family tiled bathroom featuring a generous double-ended bath, double basins, WC and a big corner shower. Oak stairs lead to a very large bedroom with glazed doors that open to a glass panelled balcony and quite staggering views. 4 single 3ft beds, fitted cupboards and roof lights complete this wonderful room.
Outside: On the seaward side of the house the garden extends to the fenced cliff edge with areas of lawn and a huge area of decked terracing provided with teak table and chairs. There is a covered look-out and a door in the boundary fence that leads down approximately 180 steps to the beach. Some of this path has minimal railing and care should be exercised when negotiating these steps. Alongside the driveway is the unheated, outdoor 30ft x 12ft swimming pool with an overall depth of 4ft. (open May-October, weather permitting). Please note the pool is not fenced. A paved and decked area surrounds the pool that has a thermal cover and a series of steps lead down to the house.
