This charming 1848 cottage stands between its own front garden and the village green enjoying distant views of Barnstaple Bay and Hartland Point. This thriving village, has a post office, garage/shop, tennis court and pub, so The Tops is an excellent base from which to explore. There is walking through wonderful wooded valleys and streams, the serene pasture land of the National Trust's Arlington Court, family home of Sir Francis Chichester to be enjoyed, and easy road access to the scenic moorland of Exmoor and glorious sandy beaches and rocky shores of the nearby coast.

Front door into a central hallway. Sitting room with large windows, woodburner, comfortable sofas and chairs, TV, video, books and games. Attractive dining room featuring an inglenook fireplace inset with a wood burner. Dining table and seating for 6. Small playroom, with toys, games and books for younger children. Well fitted spacious kitchen overlooking the village green, with electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine/dryer. Steps up into central hall and passage to separate WC and bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Central staircase to landing. 2 double bedrooms, one with basin and both with 4ft 6in beds. Small bedroom with single 3ft bed and pullout full size 3ft bed beneath.

Outside: The enclosed garden has a level lawn, a patio and shrubs. A passageway to the side of the property leads up steps to a very private, grassed back garden with garden furniture, and a gate gives direct access to the village recreation field.
