Formerly a granary, Yeoman's Cottage, attached on one side of a lovely thatched Devon longhouse, is situated at the end of a no-through road at the head of a beautiful, hidden valley edged with trees and where a former cider orchard with ornamental trees slopes down to two ponds naturally fed by local springs. The area is a natural habitat for ducks, moorhens, herons and a Preservation Area for the Cirl Bunting. In the distance the heights of Salcombe can be seen, but all that can be heard is the sound of birdsong , a magical and very peaceful spot.

Accommodation
Front door into large shared hallway with doors to both the main house and the cottage. Charming living room divided into two separate areas. The sitting area is most comfortably furnished with two sofas, rugs on the wood floor, TV with DVD, CD hi-fi, large feature fireplace housing a wood burner and a window seat with lovely valley views. The kitchen area is well fitted and equipped with electric ceramic hob, built-under double oven, microwave, integrated larder fridge and washing machine. Dining table to seat 4. Carpeted stairs to open plan bedroom with wardrobe and fine 4ft 6in pine bedstead. French windows open to a small balcony from which to enjoy the views. En-suite bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, WC and heated towel rail. Adjoining bedroom with single 3 ft bed, chest of drawers and window to rear. Both rooms are big enough to take a travel cot. A welcoming bottle of wine is provided.

Outside: The property is approached up a private drive. To the front of the cottage is an extensive sun patio with a table and chairs. Surrounding the cottage are 12 acres of meadow with sea views in parts, which guests are welcome to use.
