Tucked alongside a narrow country lane that leads down to the beautiful beach of Blackpool Sands, Yew Tree Cottage is a cosy, attractive period stone cottage that has recently been totally refurbished. Situated opposite the church and just around the corner from Stoke Fleming's well-known watering hole, The Green Dragon, the cottage is in a quiet corner of this thriving village. With the sailing mecca and historic town of Dartmouth just 3 miles in one direction and the fabulous south coast road of the South Hams in the other, Stoke Fleming is at the hub of everything that this lovely part of England has to offer.

Accommodation:
From the lane the front door opens to a tiny hallway with coat hooks and tumble dryer. The cosy sitting room features a large inglenook fireplace inset with a wood burner, two comfortable sofas and chair, TV with video/DVD and a very narrow doorway into the dining room with a dresser, CH boiler, table to seat 5 and further door to the lane. Small kitchen with fitted cupboards, washing machine, microwave, electric cooker, fridge with ice compartment and stable door to rear courtyard. Stairs from the sitting room to the landing. Pretty double bedroom with 5ft pine bedstead, built-in pine cupboard and one window that peeps across neighbouring fields, the other across the churchyard to the sea. Two steps up from here to an adjoining sitting room with a sofa, chair, beanbags and window views with glimpses of Start Point across fields. Small bunk bedroom with full size 3ft bunks, fitted cupboard with hanging space. Small bathroom with bath, electric shower over, basin and WC. Z bed available for a 5th guest.

Outside: The cottage fronts onto a very quiet narrow lane. To the rear is a shared rear courtyard with an archway to the road. No garden, but Blackpool Sands is within walking distance (half a mile) and the pub garden around the corner is excellent on sunny days for a lunchtime meal.
