Bay Tree Cottage is a very pretty quintessential thatched, Devon cottage dating back to the 17th century, fabulously situated in the very centre of Thurlestone village, a short walk from the village shop and the pub, with the beach being fifteen minutes' walk away. This picture postcard, light and spacious cottage attached on one side to The Nook (property code NOOK) provides an excellent holiday cottage for a  holiday by the sea and offers modern comforts whilst retaining an abundance of character throughout with low ceilings and exposed beams in some rooms. The garden, which is surprisingly large, is almost completely secluded and is a sheer delight.
A warm welcome with complimentary wine and tea tray awaits you.

Accommodation: Small entrance hall.  Spacious  lounge/dining room with heaps of character, open fireplace, comfortable sofas and chairs, TV, DVD player, mini Hifi with CD, refectory table and chairs. Fully fitted kitchen with electric hob, built under oven, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer. Adjoining breakfast area with table and stools, picture window and door to garden. Cloakroom with WC and basin. Upstairs: Master double bedroom with 5ft bed, mini Hifi, built in wardrobes and spacious dressing area, en-suite bathroom with bath (shower attachment), basin and WC.  Twin bedroom with 3ft beds, built in wardrobe, en-suite bathroom with bath, basin and WC.  Bunk bedroom with 3ft bunks and chest of drawers(suitable for children only).

Outside: Small patio leading to L shaped garden with lawns and garden furniture.  
 
Included: Duvets, pillows, travel cot and high chair.
Bed linen and towels may be able to be hired from an independent hire company - details from Toad Hall Cottages. 
Central heating (oil) & electricity £10 summer, end September to Spring Bank Holiday £15 per week.
Pets: One well behaved dog.  Pet charge £25 per pet per week.
Parking: Private driveway (with shared pedestrian access) may be possible for one car beside the cottage - small width cars only, as the space is very narrow. Parking Permit provided for one car at Parish Hall car park (200 yds). On road parking possible where available.
No smoking.  
Telephone: Telephone for incoming and outgoing local and 999 calls. Mobile signal variable. 
Beach  750 yards.
Shop 200 yards. Pub 100 yds.
Golf club and course (handicap required) half mile.
