Situated in a commanding and peaceful position overlooking the beach with wonderful views of the sea and coastline, this spacious and comfortable seaside bungalow in the popular coastal village of Bigbury on Sea is a great family holiday retreat at any time of year. Bigbury on Sea has some of the most spectacular Blue Flag beaches in the South West and a 5 minute walk down a pathway will have you on the sands below the house. Alternatively a very short walk along the lane brings you to the main beach which at low tide links to Burgh Island with its art deco hotel and The Pilchard Inn. This area is a mecca for surfers, wind surfers and kite surfers alike with miles of sand on which the kids can wear themselves out and during the season a ferry can take you across the estuary to nearby Bantham beach. For those who love walking, the scenic South West Coastal Path runs past the door and offers miles of beautiful coastal scenery. Blue Horizon is presented in an engaging retro 60's style and has a large living room with panoramic windows to take advantage of the views, a new kitchen and bathroom and three comfortable bedrooms. Outside there is a sunny front terrace with a glazed seating area as well as a garden and rear patio where guests can sit in the sun, relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the sea.
Accommodation: Entrance porch leading to hallway . Light and airy living room with corner sofa, 2 chairs and 32in LCD TV, DVD and digital radio/iPod docking station. Dining area with dining table and seating for 8 with views of the sea. Modern kitchen with induction hob, built in electric oven, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave and larder cupboard. Master bedroom with 4ft 6in double bed and views of the sea and coastline. Twin bedroom with 3ft beds. Family bathroom with bath, electric shower over, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail. Second twin bedroom with 3ft beds and sea views. (Both twin beds convert to 6ft linked doubles on request). Basic but functional utility room off second bedroom, ideal for drying wet suits etc. with washing machine, tumble dryer and sink. Rear lobby and cloakroom with hand basin and WC.
Outside: Paved terrace along seaward side of house with seating area, bistro style table and chairs and glass windbreak. Sloping lawn with borders planted with shrubs. Rear entrance hall leads to rear patio with large garden table, 6 chairs, sunshade and barbecue. Small raised rear lawn.
Included: Bed linen , (guests must provide their own towels), electricity, cot and high chair .

Central heating (oil) from end September to Spring Bank Holiday £25 per week.
Parking for up to 2/3 cars and boat trailer.
Pets: One well behaved medium sized dog welcome. Pet charge £25.00 per week
