Bridgend Cottage is tucked at the end of the beautiful Yealm estuary that separates the picturesque twin villages of Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo. This stunning estuary has wooded hills that slope down to the water, into which branches dip as the tide rises and offers excellent shelter for sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, fishing and crabbing for the young from the jetties. Noss Mayo has two excellent pubs and a ferry that connects to each village and the Coastal path, offering an unrivalled choice of walks.  The property, a charming, traditional, detached stone cottage dating back to the 1820's, is alongside the village lane and just a few steps from, but not overlooking, the edge of the
estuary, perfect for keen birdwatchers. Very comfortably furnished with its own private and pretty garden, Bridgend is a warm and inviting spot from which to explore this lovely area.

Accommodation: Double doors open into a glazed porch with coat hooks and boot storage. Glazed door to attractive, mellow, oak floored sitting room with a large deep sofa, chairs, TV/DVD,  stereo/CD player, gas wood effect burner and a pretty piano. A separate dining room has a rectangular table with seating for 6 and opens out into the kitchen. The newly fitted kitchen is very well equipped with an excellent range of fitted units, ceramic electric hob, built-in eye level double oven, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, stereo/CD player and large fridge/freezer. A doorway leads through to a utility area with a smart new downstairs shower room and WC. An oak stable door leads on to the garden. There is a door to a narrow passage at the rear of the cottage. Fairly steep wood stairs to the landing. Two attractive double bedrooms, one with a fine bedstead, (5ft and 4ft 6in), garden views and wardrobes. Small bunk bedroom with full size 3ft bunk beds. Family bathroom with bath, basin, WC and separate power shower.

Outside: A gravelled path leads to the front door. Very pretty garden with a small lawn, paved patio with table and chairs and a path that winds amongst shrubs. A quay and public slipway are just across the road from the property.
