Bridgeway is a most desirable cottage, attractive, spacious, very comfortably furnished and with the enormous bonus of plenty of enclosed, off road parking, something of a rarity in Polperro. This semi-detached cottage is tucked in a peaceful wooded valley at the top of the village, a pleasant ten minute stroll from the harbour and centre of this enchanting Cornish fishing village. A perfect spot to escape to at any time of the year, this dog friendly cottage enjoys a private sunny courtyard, ideal for al fresco dining in the summer and has a wood burner and central heating for the chillier times of year. From here it is possible to explore the delights of Polperro, walk the picturesque cliff top coastal paths, or sample excellent Cornish fare from the many fine restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby.

Accommodation
Steps up to the verandah, front door and hallway.  Double glazed doors open to a spacious, very comfortably furnished beamed sitting room that has French doors to the verandah. Two generous sofas (one a 4ft sofa bed) and an armchair surround a raised wood burner and there is a large TV with video/DVD and Sky package (no sport or films). The spacious kitchen/diner has a dining area and table to seat up to 8 with access to the rear courtyard.  The well fitted and equipped pine kitchen has a touch control halogen hob, built-under electric oven, dishwasher and microwave. An adjacent utility room is equipped with a larder fridge, washing machine, large freezer and access to the courtyard. Off the sitting room is a twin bedroom with 3ft beds and music centre. The master double bedroom that overlooks the front garden has a 5ft bed, TV and en-suite shower room with shower cubicle with electric shower, basin and WC. A second double bedroom (4ft 6in bed) has a wall mounted TV with video and French door to the courtyard. Family bathroom with spa bath, basin in vanity unit, WC and separate shower cubicle with electric shower.

Outside: From the road a gate opens to a large shared parking area with a path leading up to the front door. Guests are welcome to use the shared lawn area at the front of the property that is bordered by a stream.  To the rear of the cottage is a private paved courtyard with garden table and benches.

 


Included: Bed linen, towels, travel cot, high chair (by arrangement), initial supply of logs and summer electricity.
Central heating
(gas) from end September to Spring Bank Holiday £25 per week.
Pets: Welcome. Pet charge £25 per week.
Baby and/or dog sitting by arrangement.
Parking: Ample in gated shared driveway. Please Note: Transport into the village from the main car park is either by horse and cart, electric tram or your own two feet, the harbour being approximately half a mile away.  Some vehicle access is possible, but not to all parts of the village and is especially difficult during the summer.

mobile reception poor except for Orange. Use of owner's phone in an emergency. 
Beach and harbour 10 minutes walk. Other south coast beaches easily accessible by car.
Shops, pubs, restaurants, all in Polperro. Looe with more facilities 4 miles. Plymouth 25 miles.
