Brook Cottage is a spacious, traditional white Devon cottage with roses round the door, situated in a quiet, pretty lane in the heart of the unspoilt village of Slapton. Only half a mile from the shingle beach of Slapton Sands and the National Nature Reserve freshwater lake of Slapton Ley, the village has two fine pubs (both very child friendly), and an excellent village shop. The cottage brims with character, is warmly welcoming and attractively and comfortably furnished.

 Accommodation:
Two steps down from the lane to the front door that opens straight into the sitting room . This attractive beamed room has sofas, a large stone hearth with multi fuel burner, TV/DVD/video and French door to patio garden. Spacious beamed kitchen/dining room with tiled floor, fitted pine units, electric cooker, microwave, fridge (with small freezer section), washing machine, music centre and pine table to seat up to 6, all dominated by a large stone hearth housing another multi-fuel burner. A steep spiral staircase, with narrow treads on one side and wooden hand rail, leads from the sitting room to the first floor. There is a spacious landing/corridor area and two good sized bedrooms, one with double 4ft 6in bed and a twin room with 3ft beds. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin in vanity unit and WC.

Outside: Accessed from both the sitting room and kitchen is a sunny and private walled garden with border shrubs. Table, chairs and barbecue are provided. Side door to alleyway gives access to the lane.

Included:  Bed linen, towels, cot, high chair, electricity and central heating. Initial fuel for multi-fuel burners supplied, further supplies may be purchased locally.
Pets: Pets welcome Pet charge: £25 per pet, per week 
Telephone: For incoming, outgoing local and 999 calls only.
Parking: On road parking a short distance from cottage.
Beach half a mile, shop 400 yds, pub 100 yds.
