On the outskirts of Dartmouth in South Devon offering superb holiday accommodation, Broome Court is a fine collection of beautifully converted farm buildings grouped around a delightful paved courtyard, bright with abundant flowering shrubs and pots that surround a pretty goldfish pond and tinkling fountain. The property is tucked into a south facing hill, overlooking undulating countryside that is rich in wildlife. Broome Court is a very peaceful spot, well away from the bustle of everyday life, yet just minutes drive from the picturesque and historic Port of Dartmouth. The famous Blackpool Sands are a mile to the south of Broome Court and the Dartmouth Golf and Country Club, with 25% discount for Toad Hall Cottages guests off green fees and leisure facilities, a five minute drive away.
The cottages flank one side of the courtyard and are all tastefully and thoughtfully decorated to a high standard. Guests are able to enjoy the beautiful one acre grounds adjacent to the property.
Outside: All three cottages face over the pretty shared courtyard, provided with benches. Access through the owner's conservatory opposite to the beautiful one acre grounds that slope down a peaceful valley and enjoy stunning countryside views.
The Granary Accommodation:
This can be let with either one bedroom (2 persons), two bedrooms (4 persons) or three bedrooms (6 persons). When booking please state number of bedrooms needed as the price changes according to bedrooms required:
The Granary occupies the south-east wing of Broome Court, all on one level on the first floor. Reached up external stone steps the front door leads into a spacious, beamed, open plan living room comfortably furnished with large sofa and armchairs, flat screen TV, flame effect electric fire and built-in settle and chairs around the dining table to seat eight. The kitchen area is well equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge with ice compartment.
Three beautiful, spacious bedrooms each with fitted wardrobes; a double bedroom (4ft 6in bed), TV and en-suite bathroom with bath, hand-held shower attachment, bidet, basin and WC; a twin bedroom with 3ft beds, TV and en-suite shower room with shower, basin and WC; and a further double bedroom (4ft 6in bed), TV and en-suite bathroom with bath, electric shower over, basin, bidet and WC.
Included: Bed linen (not towels) and electricity.
Central heating (gas and night store) end September to Spring Bank Holiday £20 per week.
Pets: Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Pet charge : £25 per pet per week.
