This converted Cornish barn was once a farm worker's cottage dating back some 400 years. It is set down a peaceful country lane with far reaching views across beautiful countryside and to the sea beyond. Ideal for couples or two sharing, the cottage is tastefully decorated and furnished with plenty of room to spread out and relax. Step out onto the private patio, with adjoining flowerbeds and a home produce garden where the owner grows a wide selection of fruit and vegetables, and enjoy the view across the fields to the sea. You will be invited to pick your own strawberries and raspberries when in season. Opposite are the owner's two horses, Jacob and Rollo, and nearby are three goats, ducks and chickens. Fresh flowers, free range eggs and goats milk are supplied free of charge. There are plenty of good woodland and canal walks within a short distance of the cottage. It is an outstanding springtime location, highly recommended for its beautiful wild flowers and wildlife - bunnies, young pheasants and March hares in abundance, you may even be lucky enough to spot hares boxing in the nearby meadow! This property is suitable for wheelchairs and partially disabled. Supper can be arranged at £30 per couple.


Accommodation: Ramp up to stable door entrance and into a spacious living room and kitchen with wood panelling across one wall, beams and stripped pine floor. Furnished with a sofa, two armchairs, TV, DVD, radio/CD player , large coffee table and electric log effect woodburner. Fully fitted kitchen with large worktop area, plenty of cupboards, electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and full combi microwave. Drop leaf dining table that seats up to four people. View from the kitchen window to stables opposite, countryside and sea. Lift-latch wood door into large bedroom with beautiful 5ft French double bed, antique dressing table and wardrobe. Door into light and airy en-suite bathroom with shower, basin, WC and large airing cupboard. Washing machine/dryer in tack room.

Outside: The property is approached along a lane. Enclosed garden with patio, garden furniture, barbecue and gate onto the lane leading to a public footpath. Stabling and grazing available for guest horses.
