Bishops Nympton is an unspoilt, off the beaten track, small country village, just south of Exmoor and only three miles from South Molton and the main route to the scenic cliffs, hidden coves and beaches of the north Devon coast. Canon Cottage is an 18th century terraced property in the heart of the village. This charming character village cottage offers very comfortable and cosy accommodation, with stripped pine doors, polished floorboards and many attractive period features.
Accommodation:
Small entrance hall into attractive beamed living room with inglenook fireplace inset with woodburner and canopy. Comfortable three piece suite, TV and DVD, CD/hi fi system, dining table, four chairs and a good collection of jigsaw puzzles, games and books. Kitchen/breakfast room with electric cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, small dresser, table, chairs and stools. Rear lobby and access to courtyard. Stairs from the kitchen, with stable door, lead up to the landing with lovely old polished flooring. Spacious master double bedroom (4ft 6in bed) with pretty decorative Victorian fireplace and sofa. Small bunk bedroom with full size (3ft) bunk beds (cannot be separated). Small bathroom has bath with shower over, basin in vanity unit and WC.
Outside: From the rear lobby there is a door to a small courtyard with garden furniture and stone barn log storeroom with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a right of way access from the courtyard across the neighbouring garden to the lane beyond.
Included: Bed linen, towels (not beach towels) and high chair.
Heating: Electric heaters throughout with electricity up to £15 included. Logs at cost.
Pets: One dog only. Pet Charge: £25 per week.
