Dartmoor

Situated within the beautiful Dartmoor National Park and surrounded by farmland this pretty and spacious modern cottage is an ideal home from home and enables the lucky guest easy access to much of what Devon has to offer whatever the season. The large sitting room with feature fireplace, beams and wood burning stove has a little bar area, although unfortunately you will need to bring your own drinks to stock it! Sumptuous bathrooms with Jacuzzi and whirlpool baths as well as a shower/sauna cubicle will relax you after the rigours of the day. The cottage is set in its own grounds with pretty borders planted with roses and flowering shrubs and a large rear patio with built in barbecue and garden backing onto open fields. This area is a magnet for those who enjoy walking and the great outdoors and the nearby village of Cheriton Bishop has a couple of inns serving good food as well as a well stocked local shop. The interesting cathedral city of Exeter, only 20 minutes away is well worth a visit and provides a host of amenities and cultural pursuits. However, for those wanting more adventure, Devon's wonderful sandy beaches on either the dramatic north coast, (renowned for excellent surfing) or the quieter south coast are both an easy and scenic car journey away.
