This Victorian, mid terrace coastguard cottage is located on a steep hillside commanding spectacular views of the sea, which enabled the unpopular customs men to keep an eye out for the smugglers using this rugged coastline to land their illegal contraband. In a sunny, quiet location with parking for one car, this cottage has a pretty front garden where one can enjoy al fresco dining whilst watching the sun sink in the west or simply use for relaxing or sunbathing. The cottage provides an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding district and a 5 minute walk will bring you down to the picturesque harbour in one direction or to the unspoilt Talland Bay in the other (10 minute walk).

 Accommodation
Rear door into hallway. Family shower room with shower cubicle, hand basin, WC and washing machine in cupboard. From hallway door into large kitchen/diner with electric cooker, fridge with ice box, microwave and peninsula unit separating the kitchen from the dining area, which has table and seating for 5. Sunny lounge with window enjoying views from the window seat, natural stone open fireplace, (coal/logs available from local shop/garage), sofa and two armchairs, flat screen TV and DVD. Small hallway with front door to the garden and stairs up to the landing. Double bedroom to the front with lovely views and 4'6" double bed. Twin bedroom with two 3' single beds and adjacent to that a single bedroom with a 3' bed.

Outside: From the front door a couple of steps lead down to a sunny patio area with garden table and four chairs. The garden, in two tiers slopes down from the patio and is bordered with hedging, mature shrubs and a low picket fence. Parasol and further garden chairs in the house.
Note: The approach to the row of cottages is via a steep narrow lane.  

Included: Bed linen, (guests must provide their own towels), electricity and heating (Night storage heaters and electric oil radiators).
Pets: Maximum of two well mannered pets welcome. Pet charge £25.00 per pet.
Parking: Allocated space for one car.

Beaches: Polperro beach 10 minutes walk. Talland beach 1 mile. Other beaches are easily accessible by car.
