Cob Cottage is a delight. Recently totally refurbished to a high standard the cottage provides spacious, most appealing accommodation in the centre of the village of Beeson, just half a mile from Beesands and the wide panorama of Start Bay, ending at Start Point, the southernmost tip of Devon. Thoroughly modernised the cottage has everything a 21st Century holiday maker could need, yet retains an abundance of character with the most being made of the original beams. New touches include a most attractive decked terrace protected by glass balustrades that overlook the rear garden at the top of which are glimpses of the sea. Beeson is a quiet farming village within walking distance of the beach at Beesands where a welcoming pub serves locally caught fresh fish and the coastal path can be joined for miles of wonderful walking along cliff paths.

Accommodation: Front door to enclosed porch provided with coat hooks and boot storage. Door into the sitting room, a beautiful split level room with original beams, tiled travertine flooring with a rug, 2 sofas, chairs, wall mounted TV with DVD, a window seat and wood burner set in an inglenook recess. Door to kitchen diner, a bright room with sky lights and French doors to rear terrace and garden. Pine dining table to seat 6, stereo tape/CD player. The kitchen has attractive painted units with granite worktops, an electric cooker with ceramic hob and double ovens, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washing machine. Off the sitting room is the downstairs bunk bedroom with full size 3ft bunks. Stairs wind up from the sitting room to the landing that has French door opening to the deck area. Twin bedroom with 2ft 6in beds and fitted wardrobe. Pretty double bedroom with 4ft 6in wrought iron bedstead and fitted wardrobe. Adjacent bathroom with bath and a hand shower, basin in vanity unit, WC and separate shower cubicle.

Outside: A raised deck area at the rear of the cottage has a glass balustrade, picnic bench, parasol and further bench. Steps down to a gravel path that extends both down to the back door and up to a level area of lawn with a bench and views to the sea. A gated entrance leads from the lane to the parking area with space for up to 2 cars.

Please Note: Attached on one side of the cottage is a small annexe with its own separate entrance which is very occasionally used by the owners.

Included: Bed linen, (guests to provide their own towels), basket of logs and summer electricity and heating. No cot or high chair.
Heating (night storage) winter supplement from end of September to Spring Bank Holiday £30 per week.
Security Deposit £100
Pets: One well behaved dog welcome, to be kept downstairs. Pet charge £25 per week.
